Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 10, 2026

1. Introduction

Crewhall is an independently developed platform for competitive gaming crews, teams, squads, rosters, and players to create profiles, publish recruitment listings, apply to teams, manage crew pages, and communicate around crew activity. Crewhall is not currently presented as a registered company or legal entity. By using Crewhall, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to use online services in your country. If you are under the legal age of digital consent where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for making sure your use of Crewhall is legal in your location.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, keeping your account secure, and not sharing your account with others. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify Crewhall promptly.

4. Email Verification and Password Reset

Crewhall may send account confirmation and password reset emails. You are responsible for keeping your email address secure and up to date, because it may be used to verify access to your account.

5. Crew and Player Profiles

Users may create public player profiles and game-specific profiles. Crews may create public team or crew pages. Public profile information may be visible to other users and visitors. You are responsible for the content you publish.

6. Recruitment Posts and Applications

Users can create Looking For Team posts. Crews can create Looking For Player or team recruitment posts. Applications and recruitment messages should be truthful and respectful. Crewhall does not guarantee recruitment results, team quality, player skill, or the accuracy of self-reported information.

7. Verified and Self-Reported Game Information

Most game information is self-reported by users. Verified rank means Crewhall received rank or stat data from an approved provider or API. If approved API access is unavailable, ranks and stats remain self-reported. Crewhall may show labels such as "Self-reported" or "Verified." Crewhall will not mark rank or stats as verified solely because an account is connected.

8. Future Riot Verification

Riot Sign On may be added in the future for Valorant and League of Legends identity and rank verification after approval. Until then, Riot game profiles are self-reported, and non-Riot game profiles are self-reported.

Crewhall does not currently offer Steam, Epic Games, Battle.net, Ubisoft, or Discord account linking. Crewhall does not collect third-party gaming account passwords, does not scrape third-party stats pages, and does not bypass provider restrictions.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Crewhall is not responsible for third-party service availability, API changes, or data accuracy.

9. User Content

User content can include:

  • usernames, bios, profile images, and banners
  • crew descriptions, recruitment posts, and applications
  • chat messages, announcements, comments, and reports
  • social links, linked media, screenshots, and gallery items

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Crewhall a limited license to host, display, process, and transmit your content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

10. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or target other people.
  • Post hateful, discriminatory, violent, sexually explicit, or illegal content.
  • Impersonate others or falsely claim affiliation with companies, teams, or players.
  • Post malware, phishing links, scams, spam, or deceptive recruitment messages.
  • Scrape, attack, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the service.
  • Attempt to bypass permissions or access private data.
  • Sell accounts or use the platform for fraud.
  • Violate game publisher rules, platform terms, or applicable law.

11. Moderation and Enforcement

Crewhall may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, remove crew pages, or ban users for violations. Crewhall may review reports from users and may preserve information if needed for safety, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.

12. Crew Ownership and Permissions

Crew owners are responsible for managing their crew pages, roles, members, invites, applications, and chat. Crew owners should only give permissions to trusted users. Crewhall is not responsible for disputes between crew members, owners, managers, or applicants.

13. No Professional Advice

Crewhall does not provide legal, professional, esports management, financial, career, or similar advice. Information on the platform is for community and recruitment use.

14. Service Availability

The service may change, pause, or be discontinued. Features may be added, removed, or modified. APIs from Riot or other future approved providers may stop working, change, or become unavailable.

15. Intellectual Property

Crewhall owns its own branding, code, design, and platform materials. Users retain ownership of their own content. Game names, logos, characters, ranks, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Crewhall is not endorsed by or affiliated with Riot Games, Epic Games, Valve/Steam, Blizzard Entertainment, Battle.net, Ubisoft, Discord, Fortnite, Valorant, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, Rainbow Six Siege, or their respective owners unless explicitly stated. All game names, trademarks, ranks, characters, and related assets belong to their respective owners.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

Crewhall is provided "as is" and "as available." Crewhall does not guarantee uninterrupted service, accurate user-submitted content, recruitment success, player skill, team quality, or availability of third-party APIs.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Crewhall and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, lost opportunities, account disputes, recruitment outcomes, or third-party service failures arising from use of the service.

18. Termination

You may stop using Crewhall at any time. Crewhall may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Some data may be retained as required or appropriate for security, legal, backup, dispute, or abuse-prevention reasons.

19. Changes to These Terms

Crewhall may update these Terms. The updated effective date will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means acceptance of the updated Terms.
